Legislative Ethics Commission

The Independent Legislative Ethics Commission was created in 2010 by SJR 3 and SJR 19. The Commission’s duties include investigating and responding to allegations of unethical conduct by state legislators. If the Commission concludes that evidence of misconduct exists, their findings will be made public and forwarded to the House or Senate for a public hearing. The Commission is comprised of five members; two former legislators and three retired judges.
